National Blue Ribbon School Award for 2019
Holy Rosary - Wea believes each child is a masterpiece of God, created with precision for a specific purpose. We believe students are at their best when they are part of a community where multiple teachers, administrators, and students of varying grade levels not only know them by name, but also as an individual.
Our school has many programs that support the needs of each student. We utilize Multi-tiered System of Supports (MTSS) to ensure that students' academic needs are consistently being met in the classroom. Our STREAM (Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) lab utilizes project based learning to build the foundations of collaboration, critical thinking, creativity, and resolve. Our staff ensures these concepts and methods from our lab are carried over into our classrooms.

Our fifth grade class learned that the mission of all Catholics includes these three things:
Through exploration, the class discovered that Catholic Charities actively works to fulfill the Catholic mission every day. Eager to lend their support, they devised a creative initiative. The students committed to collectively walk the equivalent of a marathon within the school premises, seeking sponsors for each mile covered. As a united class, they walked one mile twice a week until they achieved the full length of a marathon, totaling 26.2 miles. Their initial goal was to raise $1,800, but their efforts surpassed expectations, resulting in an impressive total of $3,493!
During Catholic Schools Week, the class engaged in a service project with Catholic Charities, further connecting their learning to real-world impact. The culmination of their efforts was the presentation of the raised funds, providing tangible support for the meaningful work undertaken by Catholic Charities.
